Manang In-In bought the IMAK SmartGlove which can prevent and help ease the pain associated with Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (CTS). Manang In-In even bought one for Resty because Resty has already been starting to feel pain in her wrists just recently.
The premise behind the gloves is simple, to keep your wrists at the proper angle during repetitive movement. In theory, this prevents the kind of damage that can be caused by repeated physical motion, such as carpal tunnel syndrome, tendonitis, repetitive motion injury, or general muscle tenderness.
IMAK actually specializes in making braces for injury or movement support, and in this product it shows. The gloves are made out of dual-layered cotton Lycra, and are thus light on the skin and breathable. They did not impede circulation in my fingers at all, and they are not difficult to remove. Support comes most noticeable in two forms: The pads of the wrist are filled with small, moldable beads or pellets. Secondly, the gloves each have a removable splint. (I should also note that IMAK also makes a version of this glove that includes thumb support.)
I can't just believe how powerful IMAK SmartGlove can be. If ever I will have enough money, I will definitely going to buy one of this Gloves because I had been using the
computer for 14years now and my wrist is already starting to ache. I just hope it won't get worst before I can buy the IMAK SmartGlove.
